Free Trial vs. Full Version
The RDA 1.2 Free Trial gives you deep insight into your unified datacenter, but is limited in a few important ways:
- To speed installation and download, the trial does not include the probe appliance. Without probes, RDA cannot test your physical network's configuration. As a result, about a third of the reports have partial results. (They are clearly marked in the user interface.)
- The trial version is limited to 5 data collections. You can review your analysis and guidance without limit, but after 5 collections you will not be able to update your analysis to reflect your current operation.
- Scheduled analysis is not enabled in the trial version. Data collections must be performed manually.
If you upgrade to RDA 1.2 Full Version, you'll see the corresponding benefits:
- Your physical network is thoroughly tested to ensure it supplies everything your virtual machines expect.
- You can use the product to analyze your data center as often as you like.
- RDA can be set to automatically update its analysis daily, and send you updates by e-mail.
