2 Day Installation
Day 1: Gather Files & Plan Configuration
- Plan network topology
- Determine number of virtual machines
- Obtain necessary OS files
- Obtain other necessary application and test files
Day 2: a.m. - Install
- Provision RT Controller
- Bring up Vlabs (with possible OS’s & applications pre-installed)
- Bring up OS’s and applications on each VM
- Verify remote access capability
- Setup and verify network configuration
Day 2: p.m. - Start Testing
- Preserve the testbed configuration starting point on the Shelf
- Activate the configuration and begin executing test cases
- Preserve system state any time during test process for later re-use
